VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE POST HOSPITAL

Constructed in the 1850's and purchased by VMI in 1870, the Post Hospital had undergone several renovations and additions, but by 2012 it was in dire need of upgrades.

Even with the addition of new M/E/P systems, as well as the first time installation of modern building controls, fire alarm and detection, fire sprinklers, A/V, phone/data and access control systems, the VMI Post Hospital has maintained its exterior Greek Revival charm. However, it now serves as a first rate infirmary for Cadets seeking first-aid and counseling services.
