Pete Alcorn

Since starting at Kjellstrom + Lee in 1984, Pete has been helping clients achieve their vision for their projects while working with the design team to meet budget and schedule.  We deliver what we promise.

In 1983, Kjellstrom and Lee became a wholly owned subsidiary of a national construction company.  This relationship allowed K+L to embrace cutting edge management tools in preconstruction, operations and accounting, however, the corporate culture only a locally owned company can achieve began to slip away.  In 1998, Pete led a group of managers in purchasing back the stock.  In doing so, Kjellstrom and Lee once again became a leading Virginia based builder looking after our clients and people.

Originally from Chicago, Pete received his Civil Engineering degree from UVA and MBA from University of Richmond.

Pete believes in giving back to the community and is involved in organizations such as St. Christopher’s School, Virginia Repertory Theatre, Westminster Canterbury of Richmond, and Central Virginia Boy Scouts.
