James Madison University - Carrier Library Renovation and Addition
Originally built in 1938, the Carrier Library has grown along with the population of JMU through additions and renovations in the 1960's and 1980's. This project is taking the building down to the bare bones and adding a 50,000 SF steel structure addition with the traditional JMU bluestone facade. The building will feature traditional and new library resources with study, research and creator spaces plus dining areas when students need a break.
