Woodlake United Methodist Church - Education Center

From its modest beginning in a small but growing community in western Chesterfield 27 years ago, Woodlake United Methodist Church's growth can be directly attributed to their commitment to their vision statement, "Loving God, Knowing God, Living Our Faith as Disciples of Jesus Christ."

Kjellstrom + Lee has enjoyed a successful relationship with Woodlake UMC over the years providing the construction services necessary to delivering the long term vision of the church. The first phase of the Staff and Congregation of WUMC included the construction of a 16,500 SF educational facility complete with a nursery and preschool.

The new building's exterior facade was designed to blend with the existing facilities and consists of brick veneer and Hardi board siding installed to resemble the traditional board-and-batten look. Construction also included ample parking, extensive site lighting and an adjacent 50,400 SF sports field that is accompanied by a gravel access road and a 2,400 SF picnic pavilion.
