Terry Hall Renovation
The Terry Hall Renovation transformed a 35-year-old, five-story building originally constructed as faculty housing into a modern facility that enhances both faculty living and student healthcare services. The project reconfigured portions of the building to create a new Health Center, replacing the school's aging infirmary that had served campus needs for more than 50 years.
Floors one through three are dedicated to student health and wellness services, exam rooms, nursing facilities, a medical dispensary, and 12 sick rooms with two hospital beds in each room, all supporting 24/7 medical care. Floors four and five remain faculty residences, with a common area and residential suite space located on the fifth floor. Exterior improvements included enlarged windows and new balconies, while infrastructure upgrades connected the building to the Woodberry Forest School central plant and modernized the elevator systems.
