VCU Scott House
One of Richmond’s most significant examples of American Renaissance architecture and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, VCU's Scott House received an historically sensitive renovation including repairs to the building envelope along with repointing of the limestone and glazed terra cotta masonry. Windows (including the leaded windows in the conservatory) and doors were repaired and a limited use/limited access elevator was installed in the existing elevator shaft for ADA access. Installation of a new HVAC system servicing the entire building and an upgraded electrical service was included all while maintaining the building's historic fabric.
