University of Mary Washington - Willard Hall

Willard Hall, the oldest building and residence hall at the University of Mary Washington, was built in 1911.  With several renovations made to the building in the 1940's and again in 1979, this latest renovation required "the balancing of historical preservation requirements while at the same time providing a state of the art living and learning environment".  Kjellstrom and Lee's work included the complete replacement of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as well as ADA improvements, and the installation of an elevator, roof replacement, and other improvements including information technologies.
