Trinity United Methodist Church - Welcome Center
Multi-generational is defined as "of or pertaining to several generations, as of a family, or society". Trinity UMC's congregation is a reflection of a church that has successfully bridged the gap between youth, young adults and their more seasoned worshipers. Their sanctuary is the architectural manifestation of that bridge.
The 2-story, 3,000 SF welcome center serves as just that - an open invitation to all - "young and old, newcomers and life-long members" - to worship in spirit and in truth. This project also included the renovation of the existing 9,000 SF education wing which required the demolition of existing structure for the construction of new bathrooms, library, and an elevator. Life safety upgrades included the installation of fire sprinkler system throughout the existing building.
