Department of General Services - BSL 3 Lab

Interior demolition and renovation of 4,200 SF on third floor of Biotech 6 in the Virginia Biotechnology Park in downtown Richmond. The project included the correction of exterior wall infiltration issues through masonry repair, foam filling walls, and a cementitous reactive waterproofing material installed on the negative side of the wall. Also included was the configuration of the connected lab exhaust systems.  Lab spaces for Rabies, BioWatch, BT Bacterial, TB, Virology, and Animal Testing are included in this renovation.
