VCU SCOTT HOUSE
One of Richmond’s most significant examples of American Renaissance architecture and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, VCU's Scott House will receive an historically sensitive renovation including repairs to the building envelope, with repointing of the limestone and glazed terra cotta masonry. Windows (included the leaded windows in the conservatory) and doors will be repaired and a limited use/limited access elevator will be installed in the existing elevator shaft for ADA access. Installation of a new HVAC system that will service the entire building and an upgraded electrical service will be included all while maintaining the building's historic fabric.
