BON SECOURS - ST. MARY'S HOSPITAL

Spanning 30+ years, the relationship between Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital and K+L has resulted in the renovation and new construction of more than 200K sf. Projects included 5-story 98K sf patient towers, new operating suites and emergency rooms, parking decks accommodating 1,011 spaces, elevator expansion, MEP upgrades, and other renovations throughout the existing hospital.

Other project highlights include the construction of a Surgical Sterilization Facility that services the entire Richmond area Bon Secours Health System, the conversion of ground floor storage areas to 4 state-of-the-art operating rooms, and the renovation of existing space to accommodate the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facility and it’s electrical requirements. Working in concert with hospital staff, all work was performed in an occupied facility with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
