Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden's 16,500 SF conservatory building is comprised of an entry portico, a central domed glass house, three glazed wing houses, and a glazed link to a Headhouse with restroom and work space.  The north wing has been enclosed to house a seasonal exhibition of various species of live butterflies.  This is the only classical domed conservatory open to the public in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
