The Site Package and Site Hazard Repair are critical to the success of the overall Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind project package. The site package project includes the replacement and upgrade of campus utilities including power, water, gas, and the installation of campus-wide services such as HVAC controls, fire alarm, security and access control, and cable including the installation of new fibre optics, copper, and coaxial cable. The Site Hazard Repair project encompasses the repair and alterations of the school's buildings including existing walks, steps, entrances, etc., to ensure that each indivudal is safe while moving about and living on the campus and to comply with the American Disabilities Act. This project is ongoing as required by the needs of the overall site.
