The multiphased historical preservation and rehabilitation of the beautiful and historic architecture of Washington and Lee University’s Colonnade (listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as part of a National Historic Landmark) includes:
  • A 3-phase, 5-building project
  • Upgrades to heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical, and communications systems
  • Preservation of exterior masonry and lime stucco
  • Restoration of wood windows and doors
  • Repairs to existing roof systems
  • Installation of elevators for handicap access
  • Additional bathroom facilities
  • Rehabilitation of interior architectural elements
