The multiphased historical preservation and rehabilitation of the beautiful and historic architecture of Washington and Lee University’s Colonnade includes:
  • 3-phase, five building project
  • Hillel House
  • Listed on the National Register of Historic Places
  • Designated part of a National Historic Landmark
  • Upgrades to heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical and communications systems
  • Preservation of exterior masonry and lime stucco
  • Restoration of wood windows and doors
  • Repairs to existing roof systems
  • Installation of elevators for handicap access
  • Additional bathroom facilities
  • Rehabilitation of interior architectural elements
