Day Feeding And Transition Care Units:  A renovation of day feeding and transitional care units consisting of approximately 21,000 SF.  This project also included sprinkler installation throughout several wings in the existing hospital and additional mechanical work to install environmental controls in 2 feed units along with the renovation of assistive technology area.  Renovations were performed in the existing health care facility.

Dining Service Renovation:  The large-scale renovation of hospital’s dining service area included a 5,130 SF renovation and 870 SF addition to the existing building. The new design included an updated food service area and central dining facility. Strategically placed food service stations replaced the cafeteria-style lunch line. The kitchen was completely redesigned allowing for a new floor plan with the installation of new kitchen and service equipment.  Bright colors on the walls and tile patterns on floors added to overall ambience. This facility is used by families throughout the day (seats approximately 100 people).  Additions of TV’s, projection screens, and data access outlets allow a more modern and relaxing environment for visitors and guests.  A new hallway connects the café area to the hospital’s main entrance, creating a central hub in providing direct access from the main lobby to patient service areas, new conference room, gift shop, the rose garden, and the outdoor dining area. The new design meets all ADA specified requirements.
